If you have a career or thinking about a career working or selling pets, this qualification meets the criteria from Local Authorities when issuing pet shop licences.

"New applicants must have a qualification or be registered with a recognised body such

as City & Guilds. They must have suitably progressed in 12 months and have completed the qualification within 2 years. Qualifications should be City & Guilds or Level 3 equivalent and appropriate to the species kept"


City & Guilds Pet Store Management level 3 qualification Level 3 is a suitable qualification if you work with minimum supervision and want to ensure that you have a good record of safety, fault correction and that your work meets the required standard.


This workbook is designed to support you through your assessments. You will be assigned a personal tutor to help you during the course.
